Joy to the World American International School

Joy to the World is a small private international school with full day preschool and kindergarten for children from 2 years old, and afterschool kindergarten and afterschool elementary for children up to 8 years old. We are located in educational center of Tokyo, the Bunkyo Ward.

Our daytime programs are for children from 12 months to 6 years old and run from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday to Friday. In our full-day classes, teachers guide children through cognitive, social, and physical learning. Each class had age-appropriate goals and guidelines for progress. We understand that there are vast differences in interests and abilities for young children. Within that framework of understanding, we strive to provide materials and lessons that are fun and challenging and prepare students for Elementary school.
